Transparency & Policies

Our commitment to privacy, security, and transparency

Zero-Logs Policy

LockNet VPN operates under a strict zero-logs policy. This means we do not collect, store, or monitor any of your online activities.

What We Don't Log:

  • Your browsing history or websites you visit
  • Your IP address or original location
  • Connection timestamps or session duration
  • Bandwidth usage or data transferred
  • DNS queries or requested domains
  • Any content you access or download

We only collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:

What We Do Collect:

  • Email address (for account management)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
  • Basic connection data (to maintain service quality)

This zero-logs policy is fundamental to our service. Even if we were legally compelled to provide user data, we simply cannot—because we don't have it.

RAM-Only Infrastructure

All LockNet VPN servers operate on RAM-only infrastructure with no persistent storage. This is a critical security feature that ensures your privacy.

RAM-Only Servers

All data is stored exclusively in RAM (Random Access Memory). When a server reboots, all data is permanently erased.

No Persistent Storage

Our servers have no hard drives or SSDs for data storage. This means there's no physical way to retrieve historical data.

Why RAM-Only Matters

  • Automatic Data Deletion: Every server reboot permanently erases all data, making it impossible to recover any information.
  • No Data Retention: Even if we wanted to log your activity, we physically cannot—there's no storage medium to write to.
  • Enhanced Security: RAM-only servers are more secure against physical attacks, as there's no storage device to confiscate or analyze.
  • True No-Logs Guarantee: This infrastructure design makes our zero-logs policy technically enforceable, not just a promise.

Technical Implementation: Our VPN servers run on custom-configured hardware with only RAM modules. All operating system files and VPN software are loaded into RAM at boot time, and no write operations are performed to any storage device during operation.

Data Requests Summary

We believe in transparency regarding any requests for user data from government agencies, law enforcement, or other entities.

Zero Data Requests Fulfilled

As of November 2025, LockNet VPN has received zero valid requests for user data.

Our Response Policy

In the event we receive a request for user data:

  • We will carefully review all legal requests to ensure they are valid and lawful.
  • We will notify affected users whenever legally permitted to do so.
  • We will provide only the minimal information we have, which is limited to account email and payment records.
  • We will never be able to provide browsing history, connection logs, or IP addresses—because we don't have this data.

Note: This transparency report is updated regularly. Due to our RAM-only infrastructure and zero-logs policy, even if we received a valid legal request, we would be unable to provide any meaningful user activity data.
