Linux Installation Guide

Step-by-step instructions to install and set up LockNet VPN on Linux.

Requirements

Ubuntu 20.04+ / Debian 11+ / Fedora 34+

Installation Steps

    Download the appropriate package for your distribution (.deb for Debian/Ubuntu, .rpm for Fedora)

    Open a terminal window

    Navigate to your Downloads folder: cd ~/Downloads

    For Debian/Ubuntu: Run sudo dpkg -i locknet-vpn.deb

    For Fedora: Run sudo rpm -i locknet-vpn.rpm

    If you encounter dependency errors, run: sudo apt-get install -f (Debian/Ubuntu) or sudo dnf install -f (Fedora)

    Launch LockNet VPN from your applications menu

    Sign in with your LockNet VPN account credentials

    Select a server and click 'Connect'
